Drifting Through The Abstract

I put this logo together as my contribution to a local scene I support - THE INDUSTRY. I liked the direction they were using visually, but it felt a little lost - a deadly mistake in a small place like BRLA - so I did what I could to help with the logo and a simple flyer design. I did like their mp3 player and wanted to replace mine with something similar, so I followed the link to find that some of the color themes were heisted from one of my higher rated palettes at COLOURlovers.com. I was immediately flattered but at the same time somewhat violated. Turned out Darius knows them from some past venture and they immediately added a link to COLOURlovers after professing it was a harmless mistake. I'm still a little flattered but I kind of do wish I had some kind of personal credit to legitimize my claim. As a palette, it doesn't get the proliferation that it does when applied to an mp3 player that has already made it's way to within a few clicks of urls with my name in them. I just think it'd be nice to know when someone is applying one of my palettes to do something useful. I guess being top COLOURlover isn't good enough - I want credit for the work that put me there too. Geez, I'm a greedy bastard.. .
